The FAA minimum requirements to obtain a Certified Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate:
· Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating as well as a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate
· Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
· Total Flight Time: 3 Hours (Part 61)
· Instructional Flight Time: 3 Hours from an authorized instrument instructor
